From Sketchbooks to Stories
My name is CelestiaYuki, I’ve always loved anime and started making mangas as a child, both in sketchbooks and digitally. It was an on-and-off passion, but since Toongether, I’ve felt free to create! I always have stories I want to bring to life. I’m grateful to be part of this journey with you all!
Inspired by Anime, Driven by Creativity
My inspiration comes from hundreds of mangas and anime I’ve watched over my life. Often, I find myself thinking, “I would’ve made the story this way—” or I’ll get a random scene in my head. If it seems fun or interesting I turn it into a manga and let my imagination guide my story.
A Beautiful Chaos of Creativity
I’m usually pretty chaotic when creating my stories. Sometimes, I use a background image to inspire scenes, I match up characters to see if they fit together, and I keep images of all the characters with their names to remember them. My chapters take days to make because I love adding detail and eye-catching scenes.
Pushing Publish and Finding My Voice
The first time I pressed publish, I was so nervous and almost didn’t go through with it. I worried people wouldn’t care about or enjoy my stories. At first, I made my stories really long and didn’t know what I was doing, but I’m so glad I shared my work, it’s reached so many amazing people!
Storytelling with Heart, Style, and Discovery
My stories include romance, heartbreak, adventure, and discovery! I have a few new projects in the works that I’m excited to share. I’ve also come up with new creative ways to decorate my panels, and I hope these ideas inspire other creators and maybe even encourage readers to start telling their own stories, too!
