From Imagination to Reality

I’m a young adult who enjoys writing short stories in my free time. But Why Though!? has been a concept brewing in my mind for a while, and Toongether turned out to be the perfect platform to bring it to life.
Turning Conversations to stories
Because it’s been brewing in my head for a while, its universe is full of undercover secrets, magic, aliens, and more things soon to be discovered by the characters in my story. My inspiration comes from my siblings and the wacky conversations I have with them. All I have to do is sprinkle in a little bit of fantasy, and voilà! We have a story.
From Backgrounds to Dialogue
My process for creating my story is a simple one. I first pick the backgrounds where I want the story to take place. I then try out a bunch of different character poses on these backgrounds and imagine what the character or characters are saying. Once I’m satisfied, I rework the panels and add dialogue and various effects. This process takes me about 2 hours or so.
Connecting Through My First Chapter
I was more excited than I thought I’d be when I published my first chapter. That’s when it hit me that real people would actually be able to see and read my story.
As far as my favorite Toongether story, it would be Chains of Deception by Beanie Babe. It pulled me in from the first chapter.
More Stories to Come
I have not been working on something new as of yet. I kind of want to focus on But Why Though!? for right now. Though in the future, I plan to post some alien- and fantasy-themed stories.
